What a truly incredible weekend at Genesis jiu jitsu Azle the other weekend!!! I was honored to be visiting and teaching at a women run and women owned BJJ academy by the amazing Karen Banes. Karen is a total badass in her own right as a multiple times world champion and black belt and gym owner. It was an honour for me to teach at her gym that is women own, woman run! 💃.
On Saturday I taught a women’s workshop and Sunday I taught a co Ed seminar. I was blessed to have so many female Black Belts on the mat at my seminar!!! What a treat! 🖤🖤. These ladies had come far and wide from various different parts of Texas to attend. What an honor!

I do a ton of teaching and traveling as a head professor but one of the best things about what I do is the people I met and the places I go. Here on the cruise, we had the chance to enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in St Thomas, Ive ever seen.
Our hard training and healthy lifestyle is what gets us these muscles. This is the result of doing what we love, day in day out. As a 4th degree Black Back in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu I’ve put in many years into the sport and lots of blood, seat and tears. Kayla has spend decades perfecting the art in Judo and MMA.

On Friday May 17 I'll be teaching a Women's Self Defense Workshop to help bring awareness and support this cause. This is open to all levels. I'll be teaching some essentials and empowering techniques.
On Saturday May 18 I'll be teaching a Co ed Seminar, open to guys and gals. This will be at the hanger in Mesa AZ and open to all gyms and all affiliations. Lets connect, learn lots, have fun and support this cause!
I am heading back to Colorado on May 4th to Six Blades South Denver. This is yet another opportunity for the ladies to learn from a female and learn techniques that are specific to them.
I am so blessed to be teaching at this prestigious event alongside some BJJ Masters such as Master Ricardo Calvacante and Professor Buno Bastos. This will be held at Da Firma Training Center In Chesapeake VIrginia on Saturday April 13.
It's going to be an incredible event where we all showcase some of our special techniques.

I was so blessed to tech a seminar in Florida last month at Renzo Gracie Royal Palms in Florida. I big turnout and lot of ladies which is always nice to see.

My Trip to Miami last month aws incredible. First stop was with Professor Francis at Rillion Gracie Doral. I taught passing concepts. I had so much fun! Such a great vibe and lots of amazing ladies attended too which is always great to see!!! 💃. Thank you @francis.abramson for hosting me and opening your gym to me. I learned a lot hanging out with you too.
