A couple of weeks ago I taught a seminar in San Diego. I was honoured to have the company's photographer to take a whole lot of awesome photos. (check them out on my Facebook fan page here https://www.facebook.com/sophiadrysdaleFIT/. And I was lucky enough to receive some cool clothing such as tops. Check out Bathala!!! Typical chillaxed Californian style.
I had a blast at my seminars in North Carolina. And one of the highlights was being a guest on a podcast run by Jeff called Cageside ConcussionCast. He asked some really interesting questions.. not just the usual about my training background and we discussed all sorts of topics since as being a women in this field, and cutting weight safely. We talked about the ethical issues of eating meat and even about some Aussies slang. It was fun. Have a listen if you have some time! https://whupfm.org/episode/the-cageside-concussioncast-92516-permanent-archive/
BJJ Peeps, I am really excited to announce that I will be teaching two seminars in a week in Chicago. My first seminar will be held on Saturday October 15 at Serafin Academy. Open to both men and women. I will be focusing on movement and transitions from on top.
By seconds seminar will be held at the Vianna BRother's academy on Sunday 16th October. The first hour will be open to women and the following hour open to guys and gals. This is a great opportunity to learn from someone smaller and to view things from a different perspective.
Peeps I sold out of tanks but I will be getting some more in stock soon. I am taking orders now. Available in sizes S, M & L. Show the world that you are an empowered woman and that you are the star of your own life!!!!
Last weekend I taught a seminar in San Diego. I looooove San Diego with it's laid back vibe and sea breeze. Thank you to Paulete and Michael at The Stronghold who put this seminar together, it was a great opportunity for me to meet some new people. The seminar was a good opportunity for other ladies from other schools to come together, to learn, connect and share information.
I love how BJJ bring so many people together from all walks of life. One family.
These days I spend half my life traveling to teach, which is awesome. But that means I can't train as much as I would like. I am living proof though, that eating right keeps your body on track even if you miss a few training sessions. Next time peeps don't despair if you can't get to the gym, just make sure you eat right! #eatclean#sixpack#travel#bikinibody#weightloss#diet#nutrition#fitnessmotivation
I am so excited to be going to North Carolina to teach a couple of seminars. I will be teaching a women's only seminar on Friday September 23rd and then a seminar for guys and gals on the Saturday morning of the 24th. I have never been to North Carolina but I will be there with my cowboy boots ready to rock and roll.
This is one of my breakfasts that I eat on a regular basis. It is filled with so much nutrients both macro and micro nutrients that it nourishes your body on all levels and gives you the energy that you need to thrive. For those who missed my most recent newsletter that had an in-depth breakdown of this meal and why it is so beneficial, I will be sharing with you more of my staple meals.
